Mornings will be spent in the garden learning about growing seasons, how to use garden tools, simple sustainable farming techniques, horticulture, and the science of growing. In Union Project’s ceramics studio, campers will create with clay, learning hand-building techniques, wheel throwing, firing, and glazing. Campers will create their own functional ceramic wares to take home.

This unique camp will conclude with a farm dinner, prepared by campers with the help of a Pittsburgh chef using vegetables they harvested from the farm, and served on their own place settings. Each camper will take home a journal, ceramic projects, cooking lessons, and the most unique, dirty experience of the summer!
