In conjunction with the Pittsburgh’s 2017 Inclusive Innovation Week, Union Project will be hosting our monthly Creative Conversation series with the theme of “From Citizens to City”. Creative Conversation not only offers the community a space to hold an ongoing dialogue throughout the year; it has also become an incubator for social inclusion projects. Through this monthly series, attendees have shared stories and perspectives and started collaborations that engage with fellow community members to build collective identity and explore social actions together.

By inviting city officials, scholars focused on social innovation, and passionate community members to be part of the Conversation, we will continue to nurture innovative social engagement ideas from citizens to the city and into actions. This is a free event that welcomes everyone.

This Creative Conversation will be facilitated by Emiola Jay Oriola and a guest community facilitator Hannah du Plessis to guide participants in important conversations around finding and defining inclusive community.
