Clay Play Together
One-Time Workshop
Event Dates and Times:
April 16 (10:30 am - 12:00 pm)
Event Cost:
$50.00
Clay Play Together is an experience designed for caregivers and children to learn, experiment, and create together. Explore clay using all of your senses and try some developmentally appropriate prompts for hand-building. Our overall emphasis will be on the childrens’ exploration and how to best respond and encourage that play. Sing, sculpt, stretch, and play in our clay studio together. Learn to create a bowl that you form and paint. This class is designed for children ages 4-9, with an adult caregiver. Each registration is limited to one parent (or adult chaperone) plus a single child. An adult must accompany each child. Clay, tools, and firing costs are included. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
If a class or workshop is sold out, you may request to be added to the waitlist by emailing sam@unionproject.org.
Union Project is committed to being accessible to all. The building is wheelchair accessible via the side door on Stanton Avenue, and an accessible parking spot is located just outside that door.
