Cone 10 Gas Firing Workshop

One-Time Workshop

Event Dates and Times:

March 26 (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)

Event Cost:

$75.00

Bring your bisqueware to fire in our new Bailey Gas Reduction Kiln. This is an atmospheric kiln that limits the amount of oxygen in the kiln. The kiln fires to 2381 degrees. Students will bring bisque-fired work to glaze during the workshop, and then we will load the kiln together. The kiln will be fired after the workshop, with all work ready to pick up one week later. This workshop will take place outdoors in our Kiln Shelter. It is appropriate for intermediate and advanced students.

If a class or workshop is sold out, you may request to be added to the waitlist by emailing sam@unionproject.org.

Union Project is committed to being accessible to all. The building is wheelchair accessible via the side door on Stanton Avenue, and an accessible parking spot is located just outside that door. Service animals are always welcome, and ASL interpretation can be provided on request. Please let us know what accommodations we can make to ensure your experience is positive, contact Michelle Clesse at 412-363-4550 or michelle@unionproject.org if you have specific accommodations or needs.
