One-Time Workshop, Union Project Event

Event Dates and Times:

May 2 (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)

Event Cost:

Free

Eva Conrad is a ceramist and painter based out of the northside of Pittsburgh. She received a Bachelors of Fine art at Appalachian State University, has attended Penland School of Craft, and just completed a year long residence at the Union Project. She works to depict elusivity in dimension between her objects and paintings. Through working as a local and national activist she gained recognition of repetitive patterns of oppressive binary systems. The activation somewhere between what is flat and what has shape is representative of the importance of spectrums of understanding and existing. Functional pots made by Eva serve as a push to question the assignment to function we have based on our perception of the physical.

Eva Conrad will give an artist talk and live demo on how to pinch the perfect cup.
