Take-Home Bugs and Blooms at Three Rivers Arts Festival

One-Time Workshop, Union Project Event

Event Dates and Times:

June 10 (12:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

Event Cost:

Free

Union Project brings together countless community members to celebrate the beauty of the Earth through the public art garden project “Bugs and Blooms.”

Through this take-home activity, participants use ceramic hand-building techniques to explore with clay and create a unique, impermanent garden critter. Alongside their garden critters, participants use a mix of terracotta clay, compost, soil, and seeds to create seed bombs to plant around their homes and community. The wildflowers that grow from the seed bombs will help support the region’s butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.
