Teen/Tween Wheel 101

One-Time Workshop

Event Dates and Times:

June 2 (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

Event Cost:

$30.00

Has your teen or tween always wanted to try their hand at the potter’s wheel? Join us for a creative afternoon of learning in the ceramics studio. Designed for youth ages 9-16 years old, students will learn the basics of centering clay and throwing bowls and cylinders on the wheel. Led by an experienced teaching artist, this fun and informative workshop is designed for those who are curious about clay or want to further their skills without the commitment of a class. Clay, tools, and firing costs are included. Make sure your kids wear clothes that are okay to get dirty.

If a class or workshop is sold out, you may request to be added to the waitlist by emailing sam@unionproject.org.

Union Project is committed to being accessible to all. The building is wheelchair accessible via the side door on Stanton Avenue, and an accessible parking spot is located just outside that door. Service animals are always welcome, and ASL interpretation can be provided on request. Please let us know what accommodations we can make to ensure your experience is positive, contact Michelle Clesse at 412-363-4550 or michelle@unionproject.org if you have specific accommodations or needs.
