MOAPS 2023 Artist Application

MOAPS 2023 Artist Application

This free, all-ages event will take place at Union Project on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Union Project is thrilled to announce Mother of All Pottery Sales (MOAPS) 2023! Ceramic artists will exhibit and sell their work while regional artists demonstrate different techniques to visitors.

Union Project uses the arts to bridge gaps between communities. The Mother of All Pottery Sales brings Pittsburgh’s ceramics community together, artists and patrons alike, for a day of demonstrations, mingling, selling, and sharing.

Based on feedback from both artists and guests following MOAPS 2022, we are planning the following:

  • Artist booths in the Great Hall will remain more spread out than in years past. There will also be artists selling in the Atrium.
  • Artists will have the option to sell their work via a booth indoors, or drop work off to be sold at Union Project’s sales area.
  • We will continue to utilize timed entry throughout the day. NEW THIS YEAR: 10am-11am will be a paid early bird shopping opportunity with reduced visitor numbers. Timed tickets from 11am-4pm will be free.

We are now accepting applications for artists who wish to sell their work at MOAPS 2023. Artists will be selected based on the quality of work, our commitment to curating a diverse and inclusive sale, and the availability of space. Please contact our Marketing Coordinator, Sam Laffey at with any special requests, questions, or concerns.
