Ceramics Open Studio

Come on, give it a try!  Union Project invites you to sharpen your skills and work alongside other artists and community members.

During Open Studio, we welcome those with previous ceramic experience to share our space, equipment, and materials to create with clay. Open Studio is recommended for those who are familiar with the ceramic process, don't need hands-on instruction, and feel confident working independently. An Open Studio monitor will be present to assist with orientation to the studio.

Clay, glaze, and firing are all included in the Open Studio fee. Up to 12 pounds of clay (Standard's 306 brown stoneware) will be provided. Additional clay can be purchased for an extra fee. Glazed pieces will be fired cone 6 electric. No outside clay or glaze is permitted during Open Studio.

For those who are new to clay, we recommend a Beginner/Intermediate Class or Workshop. For those who are more advanced, wish to have more access to the studio, and use other clay and glazes, we recommend joining our Ceramics Cooperative.
