Join us in the Atrium Studio to practice and hone your throwing skills!

You’ll have access to our Atrium studio, potter’s wheels, throwing tools, and clay during this single session of Throwing Lab. This program focuses on the throwing process – you can come to throw or trim your pieces. All finished work will be bisque fired, but not glaze fired. Anyone wishing to glaze and finish their pieces may do so during a registered class or regular Open Studio. Throwing Lab Single is recommended for those familiar with the ceramic process, who don’t require hands-on instruction, and who feel confident working independently. A monitor will be present to assist with orientation to the studio.

Throwing Lab Single registration sales are final.

Please arrive on time. If you arrive more than one hour after the start of the session, the doors will be locked, and you will be unable to enter the building. Arriving more than one hour after the beginning of the session forfeits your spot, and you will not receive a refund.

Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Each registration includes clay, tools, and bisque firing costs for one adult. No outside clay or glazes permitted.
