MOAPS 2022 Artist Application

This free, all-ages event will take place at Union Project on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Union Project is thrilled to announce that the Mother of All Pottery Sales (MOAPS) is back! Ceramic artists will exhibit and sell their work while regional artists demonstrate different techniques to visitors.

Union Project uses the arts to bridge gaps between communities. The Mother of All Pottery Sales brings Pittsburgh’s ceramics community together, artists and patrons alike, for a day of demonstrations, mingling, selling, and sharing.

To provide the safest experience for everyone involved, we are planning for the following precautions:

Masks will be required throughout the event.
Artist booths will be more spread out than in years past.
Artists will have the option to sell their work via a booth indoors, a booth outdoors, or drop work off to be sold at Union Project’s sales area.
Indoor spaces will utilize timed entry.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
We are now accepting applications for artists who wish to sell their work at MOAPS 2022. Artists will be selected based on the quality of work, our commitment to curating a diverse and inclusive sale, and the availability of space. Due to space constraints for health and safety reasons, we anticipate accepting fewer artists this year. March 7, 2022 Selection Notifications and Table Fee Invoices Sent
March 31, 2022 Table Fee Due
Aprl 24 – May 1, 2022 Artists selling through UP Sales Area must drop off work during designated times.
May 7, 2022 MOAPS 2022 Event Day
